The WASSCE Home Mock is the secondary school version of the BECE Home Mock, which was introduced to the Ghanaian market in April 2022. Education-News Consult introduced the WASSCE Home Mock on March 18th, 2026, on its new smart dashboard on skulmanager.com.
As the name implies, the mock is taken by candidates from their respective homes.
How the WASSCE Home Mock Works
-
Parents or candidates register and pay for the mock service.
-
After registering and paying for the mock, the student's dashboard opens for the parent or student to download the questions.
-
Questions can be printed for the candidate, or he or she can access them from a mobile device, a laptop, or a desktop.
-
The questions are answered based on the timetable on the portal.
-
Answers are scanned as PDF files and uploaded onto the dashboard for marking and grading.
-
Examiners mark and grade the scripts right on the dashboard.
-
Scores obtained by the student for each subject are uploaded and saved.
-
The result populates on the student's portal.
-
The marking schemes are also released, and the candidates or parents can access and download them for revision purposes.
What is the cost or fee for the WASSCE Home Mock?
As of March 23rd, 2026, a student taking only the four core subjects—English Language, Social Studies, Mathematics, and Science—pays GHS 250.00, while these four subjects plus electives cost GHS 350.00.
For the March to May 2026 WASSCE Home Mocks, only the core subjects are expected to be administered. However, efforts are underway to add elective subjects for General Science students.
Why Parents Must Register Their Wards For the WASSCE Home Mock
-
It serves as a key practice and revision examination that mimics the final WAEC-administered exam.
-
Students will test their readiness for the next WASSCE they are preparing for.
-
It helps students have access to not only likely examination questions for revision but also the corresponding marking schemes.
-
It is a performance-boosting assessment that all parents and candidates must consider.
-
The questions and topics are projected areas for the WASSCE examination.
